Snow White and the Huntsman – 5 Minute Preview
I’m not going to lie to you all, I kind of dropped the ball on sharing with you this 5+ minute preview of Snow White and the Huntsman that came out back on Tuesday. Never the less, I present it to you now in all its glory. Unlike the 10-minute preview of John Carter we hosted earlier, this preview is more like an extended trailer (2x the length of the full trailer we have on display below the preview). But I must say this preview makes the movie look more magnificent than I had ever expected. So without further adieu, check it out and we’ll continue below:
Now more than ever I am eagerly awaiting this film. But I must point out, did anyone else notice the similarity in the scene of around 4:00 into the preview and the first meeting of Ashitaka and the Forest Spirit in Hayao Miyazaki famous Mononoke-Hime?
Particularly around 4:00 into the clip below as well?
Anybody? nobody? am I completely insane? Well it looks similar to me, and perhaps it says Rupert Sanders is a bit of a Miyazaki fan himself.
At any rate, Snow White and the Huntsman looks to be great, with some spectacular talent provided by Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth. Check it out when it hits theaters June 1, 2012.

No, you’re not insane, and you’re not the only one!! I just came back from the cinema, and I was like, WTF ! That is exactly the scene of Miyazaki’s Princess Mononoke when the deer god appear ! I almost shout out in the cinema and said, “this is exact CopyCat !!” It’s so shame that this director copy exactly the scene, the background, the lake..I like Miyazaki movie a lot, and I’m totally annoyed to see this.
