Anime Expo Brings LiSA To America – Anime Expo has long been known for bringing big name Japanese musicians to America for their debut concerts. In fact, last year they even brought us one of our first virtual musicians. Well, this year they have a special treat in store for us. Pop star LiSA, whose chart-topping single “Oath Sign” is the theme song for the anime series Fate/Zero, will be on hand to sing, autograph, and do a few panels at this year’s Anime Expo. Before LiSA appears at Anime Expo, Aniplex of America will bring four of LiSA’s CDs to the US, including her full-length album and Special Edition combos on Blu-Ray or DVD, allowing fans a physical preview of the singer, as well as something to get signed. The date and time of LiSA’s concert will be announced soon, but remember that AX will be taking place June 29th through July 2nd this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Every Street Fighter Needs A Break For Recovery – Yoshinori Ono, the producer of the Street Fighter video game franchise, has recently stepped down from his position. This news comes somewhat unsurprisingly after an unfortunate hospital stay for the game developer during the promotion of Street Fighter X Tekken. The very kind and sociable Ono has been very responsive during this time on his Twitter, where he has both apologized for potentially worrying fans with his health scare and also thanked them heavily (and continues to do so) for all the well wishes he’s been receiving. Ono and Capcom have yet to state who will be taking over in his stead, but Ono still tweets in a style that sounds like as soon as he recovers he’ll be back in force.

Support Your House, Bare Your Sigil, Winter Is Coming! – In a very unique form of promotion for the season 2 premiere of last week’s Game of Thrones, HBO gave out free tattoos! Yes, if you lived in New York, NY and could make it to Wooster St. Social Club (yes, the tattoo parlor from NY Ink), then you might have been lucky enough to get an awesome Song of Ice and Fire tattoo on HBO’s dime. Buzzfeed was there and covered the event with some pretty photos.

Little Big Kart Racing -  Little Big Planet now has a kart racing game. This news has been discussed a bit since February, but now we have trailer and proof of it, with news from Sony that United Front Games is handling the fun racer/mini-game bit for PS3. The game is set for release sometime in the later half of 2012, but you can view the trailer below now:
