Blackwater Is Coming – War in Game of Thrones
After last night’s episode of Game of Thrones we now have less than one week until the big battle of Blackwater! Yes, episode 19 is nearly upon us, which means the climactic land and sea clash between Joffery (or realistically, Tyrion) and Stannis Baratheon is about to come to a head. We’ll be having a small viewing party at Fanime next weekend, but hopefully you all find a great place to view it as well. Of course, if you don’t know what I’m referring to, feel free to catch up on Game of Thrones on HBO on Demand, HBO Go, or whatever means you watch your epic medieval fantasy programs on. Blackwater was the battle that brought climax to A Song of Ice and Fire’s second book, Clash of Kings. It should also bring some real excitement and onscreen fighting to the TV series.
