True Blood Season 5 Premieres Tonight
Tonight, at 8PM, the long awaited season 5 of True Blood begins on HBO. Based on Charlene Harris’ infamous Sookie Stackhouse novels, The Southern Vampire Mysteries, season 5 will be loosely adapted from the series’ 5th book, Dead as a Doornail. And, while this will be creator Alan Ball’s last season on the series, it will be Christopher Meloni’s first as he portrays the vampire, Roman. Set for 12 episodes, this intense season will deal with the cast going up against the Vampire Authority, with some likely intense twists to follow all the way up through the end of August.
