ComiXology, the premier digital comic reader available on countless platforms, is giving away a special treat throughout San Diego Comic Con next week to celebrate their 5th anniversary. Starting Thursday and running through Sunday, select booths around the convention floor will be giving away limited edition postcards with ComiXology codes. Each postcard is limited to just 1,000 copies, which is a pretty small number for a Comic Con give away. But for those lucky first thousand to grab one of the postcards each day, you’ll be getting a free comic or full trade paperback through ComiXology for a rather incredible comic series. So what comics are they giving away and where do you find these postcards? The first up is on Thursday, where Image Comics will be giving away the Fatale #1 promo postcard at their booth (#2729), earning you a free digital download of issue #1 of Ed Brubaker’s incredible new series. Then on Friday, IDW Publishing will be giving away the Locke & Key Vol. 1 promo postcard at their booth (#2643) for a copy of Joe Hill’s entire first trade of horror goodness. Saturday, the promo postcard giveaway continues as Oni Press hands out the Sixth Gun Vol. 1 promo postcard at their booth (#1833), giving fans a free look at the lovely indie series’ first 6-issues. Last but not least, on Sunday, Archaia will be giving away the Dark Crystal: Creation Myths Vol. 1 promo postcard at their booth (#2635)! All together that makes for a huge savings and awesome collection of some rather incredible comics.
