Silent Hill: Revelation 3D
Coming October 26, 2012 from director Michael J. Bassett is the sequel to the highly popular Silent Hill movie. Based on the groundbreaking video game franchise, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be the sequel to the 2006 Silent Hill film, which was directed by Christophe Gans and opened at number one in the U.S. box office, taking in nearly $100 million worldwide. Featuring an unparalleled horror experience, Konami’s Silent Hill franchise has captivated fans for more than a decade and has spawned a hit comic book series, several graphic novels, collectible action figures, and numerous soundtracks from big name rock bands. It’s followers are countless, and the franchise has spawned many intricate and horrifying cosplays that are still seen at almost every comic and anime convention around the world.
In this fall’s Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever. Starring Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, Radha Mitchell, Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Malcolm Mcdowell, this film is sure to be yet another hit, if not more popular than its predecessor.
