On Sunday, September 9th, at midnight, Cartoon Network will be premiering the new season of Robot Chicken with a very special episode themed purely around DC comics. The Robot Chicken DC Universe Special will be a DC Universe special, in collaboration with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation. Voice actors include series creator Seth Green as Batman, Robin, and Aquaman, Paul Reubens as the Riddler, Neil Patrick Harris as Two-Face, Alfred Molina as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern, Megan Fox as Lois Lane, Breckin Meyer as Superman, and Kevin Shinick as the narrator. The Cast also includes Abraham Benrubi, Alex Borstein, Clare Grant, Tara Strong, Matthew Senreich, Tom Root, and comic writer Zeb Wells. It looks to be a rather all star cast, and has already been celebrated via an awesome costume party that Geoff Johns spent much of Saturday tweeting about:

Oh. At Robot Chicken DC Comics costume party. :)

But perhaps the coolest thing to spill out of this upcoming claymation special is the surprise variant that will grace next week’s Aquaman #12 (and Johns’ current twitter avatar). Yes, Aquaman #12 will feature a special Robot Chicken DC Comics Special Variant that can be seen below. Remember to pick one up at your local comic shop on August 29th!
