Avengers Vs X-men #12 Preview With All Its Many Variants
Coming out October 3rd if the conclusion to Marvel’s big 2012 comic event, Avengers Vs X-men. We have seen Avengers clash against X-men, X-men clash against X-men, and even Phoenix Force bearers clash against Phoenix Force Bearers. But now there is but one person who contains the entire Phoenix Force, and that man is Scott Summers. Scott doesn’t just have the Phoenix force though, but has become a Cyclops style version of the Dark Phoenix, ready to burn Earth to the ground and give it a rebirth in his design. Thankfully, the entirety of the Avengers and X-men will be there to stop him and bring us into the Marvel NOW.
Issue #12 of Avengers Vs X-men will be written by Jason Aaron (Wolverine and the X-men, Incredible Hulk) and drawn by Adam Kubert (Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine, Wednesday Comics). It is undoubtedly going to involve and epic battle, and from the preview you can view below, it will likely contain Hope and Scarlet Witch going up against Dark Phoenix Cyclops. Well it is probably safe to say the Phoenix doesn’t win, his he loses will be the question in this oversized finale, running a $4.99 price tag. But even at $5, some fans will be buying more than one copy, especially if they want to collect the many variants for this issue. Right now there are at least 8 variants set to role out next month for Avengers Vs X-men #12, and you can view them all below.
