Dead Man’s Run #3 Preview
It has been a short while since Dead Man’s Run’s last issue from Aspen MLT was released. However, the story of a prison break from hell is hardly finished as issue #3 nears release. We once again rejoin the young cartographer, Sam Tinker, in his perilous quest to save his sister and escape the many layers of Hell alive. Will he find Juniper? Can he escape to the next level, and will he ever pass back through the gates to the world above? You’ll have to pick up Dead Man’s Run #3, when it hits stores this September 19th, to find the answers. Of course, if you need a little taste, we always do try and provide you with the best previews before the books come out.
Written by the very talented and fan loved Greg Pak (X-treme X-men, Incredible Hulks), Dead Man’s Run makes the Divine Comedy look like a mere travel guide in comparison to the action packed story in the pages of DMR. Of course, those pages are also beautifully rendered by Tony Parker (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Warhammer 40,000), a penciler who has slowly come into his own over the past half-decade and is showing off some of the best work of his career in this title. David Curiel (Idolized, Warlord) wraps up the team on colors, while Corey Smith (Broken Pieces) and Peter Steigerwald (Soulfire, Fathom) are also along for the run on covers. Check out our 6-page preview below and don’t forget to pick up Dead Man’s Run #3 next Wednesday.
