As Geek culture grows in popularity more and more throughout the 21st century, we’re beginning to see some rather interesting new Geek projects arise. Perhaps the most surprising, yet utterly expected, new Geek projects are those of a more adult nature. As porn companies like Vivid create their own imprint of Geek porn, the Alt-Porn culture begins to merge with the comic industry, and fan fiction gets naughtier, it shouldn’t come as much of a shock that Geek erotica is not only becoming common, but a big business. So it is with that in mind that we see a fun new take come from Shanna Germain and friends on Kickstarter. Geek Love: An Anthology of Full Frontal Nerdity is to be a brand new Geek erotica anthology filled with adult prose, naughty comic strips, and dirty pin-ups. The Kickstarter campaign to help fund the book’s production started out on August 23rd, quickly reaching and surpassing its goal of $8,000. Funding will end on September 27th, with several stretch goals met and high expectations placed on the book with over 400 backers. Backers of this interesting new project will get everything from signed copies of the book to T-shirts, and even a chance to have your name or likeness printed in the final product.

Mrs. Germain is by no means unfamiliar with writing or erotica, having edited and written many erotic works throughout her career. However, combining her personal love of Geeky things with her erotic writings should make for an interesting end product. Along for the ride are several major writers (some using pseudonyms), such as: James Sutter (Paizo’s Fiction Editor),Camille Alexa (Push of the Sky),Claude Lalumière (The Door to Lost Pages), Andrea DaleWendy N. Wagner (Pathfinder Tales), M. Christian, Kirsty Logan, John Nakamura Remy, Lucia Starkey, Molly Tanzer (Prime Books), and Kristina Lloyd. The project is accompanied by art from creators like: Barry Neeson, Krysztof Nemeth, Leen IsabelMichael Startzman, Vanessa Zuloago, Manny Cartoon, and Joanna Barnum. However, Germain is still open to more artists, so if you’re interested in submitting your work, please click here. There is no schedule release date yet for Geek Love, but after the rather sucessful looking Kickstarter ends, backers will likely be kept up to date on all the info of the anthology’s release.
