Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, and director of The Avengers, has recently created a very unexpected and hilarious presidential campaign ad for next week’s 2012 election. The short ad, posted under his new youtube account, WhedonOnRomney, has Joss explaining why he thinks a vote for presidential candidate Mitt Romney could lead to a zombie apocalypse. We’re not here to take sides on the election, though Joss seems to subtly do so in this video. What led to this video is hard to say, but moments of humor mixed with politcal views are somewhat rampant thanks to lines like ”Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in health care, education, social services, reproductive rights, that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting, all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland”. Perhaps this is Joss trying to argue a case for Obama or opponent of Romeny? Perhaps it is Joss just having fun. Either way, no matter what side of the campaigns you’re on, you’re sure to find this 2-minute clip laugh worthy.
