Max Allan Collins is a prolific and highly talented writer of prose, film, and comics. He is perhaps best known in the comics community for writing the brilliant Road to Perdition graphic novel which was later turned into a popular 2002 film. While Collins has written many novels, his prose followers tend to know him best for his Nathan Heller series, which follows a Chicago based P.I. in the 30′s and 40′s. San Diego Comic Con Hotel Race!

While those great exhibitors and presenters we pay to see each year at San Diego Comic Con got their hotel rooms ages ago, tomorrow is the big day for general attendance to queue up for a room downtown during San Diego’s big geek gathering, Comic Con International! The hotel reservations for the Comic Con block this year will be handled by Travel Planners, a third party travel group that should be able to handle the Comic Con traffic. DC Announces The Green Lantern Titles’ New Creative Teams

It was announced a short while ago that Geoff Johns would be leaving Green Lantern, a title he’s written for almost 10 years, after the completion of his current ‘Wrath of the First Lantern’ storyline, which starts in Green Lantern #17.
