Max Allan Collins is a prolific and highly talented writer of prose, film, and comics. He is perhaps best known in the comics community for writing the brilliant Road to Perdition graphic novel which was later turned into a popular 2002 film. While Collins has written many novels, his prose followers tend to know him best for his Nathan Heller series, which follows a Chicago based P.I. in the 30′s and 40′s. It was announced a short while ago that Geoff Johns would be leaving Green Lantern, a title he’s written for almost 10 years, after the completion of his current ‘Wrath of the First Lantern’ storyline, which starts in Green Lantern #17.
