Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome Release Date Announced–Finally!

Monday it was announced that the very long awaited Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome prequel series, from BSG alum David Eick and Michael Taylor, was finally coming to a screen near you! A computer screen that is, at least for now. Blood and Chrome will be released in ten, 7 & 1/2 minute episodes over the next 4 weeks on YouTube as a part of Machinima’s YouTube channel, Machinima Prime, the same channel providing us Halo 4: Forward Onto Dawn. Phoenix Comicon 2012

This weekend is Arizona’s 10th annual Phoenix Comicon (held this May 24th-27th). Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

Following the ever present character, William “Husker” Adama, the newest Battlestar Galactica series, Blood & Chrome, takes place 10 years into the first Cylon War. We first saw glimpse of this trailer at Richard Hatch’s So Say We All panel at WonderCon last week. There we also learned that the series will filmed entirely on green screen and that SyFy appears to be passing on the series, leaving producers to look towards online or direct to DVD distribution for the series. Alien Cathouse – A New Geek Brothel In Nevada

Sometimes the Geek News is just…unexpected. This is one of those cases. Dennis Hof, owner if the infamous Moonlite BunnyRanch in Mound House, Nevada, and star of HBO’s Cathouse TV series is expanding his chain of brothels. This time, he’s trying for some really new territory. Hof has purchased a location not far from the actual Area 51 in Nevada, where prostitution is legal, to make into a gas station, truck stop, convenience store, and Geek themed brothel.
