Las Vegas’ LVL Up Expo Review

Vegas is starting to become a more popular place for conventions it seems. Last weekend there was a first time convention for gaming. Being in Vegas I know that can be confusing. It not gambling but actual video games, tabletop games, card games, and more. This is the second geek-themed convention in 6 months to attempt to start a new annual convention in Vegas. To top it off there will be another one coming in June this summer. Here is what went on this past weekend though.

Killzone 4: Shadow Fall Trailer

The other day we saw the announcement of the Playstation 4, and with it came the announcement that Killzone 4 will be one of the console’s launch titles. The Killzone series is a Sony exclusive collection of games that first released back in 2004 on the Playstation 2. It seems rather appropriate that the 4th release of this popular game series be on the 4th model of Sony’s Playstation. Today Disney announced a brand new Disney-themed video game with a bit of an interesting twist: toys! For those of you still reeling over Nintendo Power Magazine’s cancellation last month, after a nice 25 year run, there’s a new magazine designed specifically for you and other fans of Nintendo. Nintendo Force is a brand new magazine which saw its premiere issue release last Friday. The magazine features writers from several major video game news sites, a few funny Nintendo comic strips, lots of great Nintendo news, and even some upcoming previews. New York Comic Con ’12: Injustice Introduces Green Arrow And Packaging

As the release date of Injustice nears we are still discovering new playable characters in the game. The newest playable character is that of Green Arrow. Today Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment unveiled the details for their upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition. DC Entertainment’s new video game from Nether Realm Studios, Injustice: Gods Among Us, finally has a release date.
