Apparently DC really likes its 4 times a month shipping schedule, because this week they are holding back! If you are a fan of DC’s DCnU/New52 then this is not your week for comics. It would seem DC decided to skip out on the 5th Wednesday of November by releasing just a few peripheral DCU titles, some reprints, and vertigo bits with absolutely nothing of their brand new New 52 to be seen. Of the new releases DC is offering this week (not including reprints or repackaging of older titles) there is only the meager collection listed below:

So to sum that up, that is 1 (potentially 2) title(s) fitting in the modern DC continuity, the continuance of a long over due Batman mini-series, 3 children’s titles, 2 video game tie-ins, and 2 vertigo books. A grand total of 10 compared to last weeks shipment of 20 unique and new DC titles. This may be a great week to bring your child or younger sibling into the comic shop, but not likely worth the gas if you’re only picking up DC this Wednesday. On the bright side, there is a bountiful number of incredible indie books coming out this week for you to spend you money on, such as the third issues for both Shinku and Game of Thrones.
