Today saw the release of the new Dark Knight Rises trailer, which is sure to cause a stir on the internet. Many will be incredibly excited to see the conclusion to Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Other fans will be screaming in their computer chairs as they question how these characters are at all tied to the ones they are familiar with from the comics and previous media adaptions. So the question is, where will you stand after you watch the new trailer?
I must say, I’m not a huge fan of how un-batman like this movie looks. However, the exploding bridges is More >

Diablo III! Diablo III! Diablo III!
In case you have completely fallen off the face of the earth, live under a rock, or had no internet connection over the last half year or so (welcome back), here’s a friendly reminder: Diablo III will be released in about two weeks, May 15th. Mark your calendars, book a month off, write your will, etc. This one. Will. Consume. YOUR SOUL!
Here’s a new TV spot via PCGamer UK to whet your appetite (US version requires youtube login, shamefully).
May 5th is Free Comic Book Day, one of the greatest days of the year for comic fans and the comic industry. This is the time of year when creators are signing, comic shops are finding new customers, comic companies are showing off new series and stories to a new audience, and comic fans reap the benefits of sales, contests, and, of course, FREE COMICS! But why spend Free Comic Book Day at just any comic shop when you could be spending it at Sky High Comics in beautiful San Marcos, CA with the guys and gals of Speak Geeky To More >
Speak Japanese? A few of us do, but sadly nowhere near well enough to translate this fun new Japanese video about the story of Lollipop Chainsaw. But even if you’re not fluent in Japanese, you can still enjoy this glance at the characters, villains, and pervy scenes from the game. Plus, everything just sounds so upbeat in Japanese!
Of course, if you want more details on the game in a language you can understand, we have you covered, just click here.
Now certainly many of you will have heard of Gainax’s naughty and fun series about two angels, Panty and Stocking, who were kicked out of heaven only to find themselves on earth, where they fight evil “ghosts”. The hilarious anime series spoofs countless pieces from pop culture and has just enough naughty bits to make it ultra sexy without entering softcore hentai. Basically, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is what everyone who has never truly watched anime envisions the medium to be. The series originally aired in Japan during the fall of 2010 on BS NTV, with simulcast on Nico More >
Yesterday saw a return to Last Airbender style action and romance in Avatar with Voice in the Night, but next week it looks like we’ll be returning to some uniquely Korra style action in The Spirit of Competition. Returning to the ring for some Pro-bending, Korra’s going to face an opponent we’ve been waiting to pop up in the series since we saw Naga growling at him in previews:
But, until we can check out next weeks fun episode, lets remember some of the awesome scenes from episode 4, such as Mako and Asami’s first meeting:
Or perhaps Korra’s action packed raid More >
Earlier this week it was announced that Arkham City was getting an all new ‘Game of the Year’ edition release for consoles and PC with all the DLC content included, plus a free download of Batman: Year One the animated movie. The biggest part of this announcement was the latest DLC for Arkham City, Harley Quinn’s Revenge. As the game has been out for a while, most of you know why Harley might be getting revenge, but I won’t spoil it here. The nice bit is that Rocksteady games have been giving us little teasers this morning for Harley Quinn’s More >
In preparation for next weeks The Avengers movie, Marvel and Wal-Mart have joined forces to create a new Augmented Reality game you can play on your smart phone or mobile device. By downloading new “Superhero AR” app (which is different from the Marvel AR app, and is produced by AD-Dispatch Inc) from iTunes or Google Play, you can help the Avengers defeat the evil Loki. How is this done you might ask? While, basically put you are playing an Avengers themed scavenger hunt at your local participating Wal-Mart with a smart phone. Using the AR app you must find specific More >

PMX will be held at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles from November 9 to 11 this year, while Anime Vegas will be from November 10-12, 2012 at the Cashman Center in Las Vegas.
Both conventions have a slight overlap in fan attendance, and the recent scheduling in 2011 and now 2012 has caused many attendees to have to pick one convention over the other. Hopefully the issue will be resolved in 2013 and beyond.
Apparently the other day saw a few sly hackers easily steal a future episode of Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Legend of Korra. From there, the episode, screen shots, and summaries went viral, finding themselves all over the internet. Needless to say, the creators of the series were not happy about this and expressed their feelings on blogs and tumblr. Many fans removed the images and details, with the videos almost nowhere to be found online now. Not one for completely going against the wishes of creators of such a beloved television show, we are not going to provide episode specific spoilers More >
