Apr 30th
Today saw the release of the new Dark Knight Rises trailer, which is sure to cause a stir on the internet. Many will be incredibly excited to see the conclusion to Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Other fans will be screaming in their computer chairs as they question how these characters are at all tied to the ones they are familiar with from the comics and previous media adaptions. So the question is, where will you stand after you watch the new trailer?
I must say, I’m not a huge fan of how un-batman like this movie looks. However, the exploding bridges is More >

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt Comes to America
Apr 29th
Now certainly many of you will have heard of Gainax’s naughty and fun series about two angels, Panty and Stocking, who were kicked out of heaven only to find themselves on earth, where they fight evil “ghosts”. The hilarious anime series spoofs countless pieces from pop culture and has just enough naughty bits to make it ultra sexy without entering softcore hentai. Basically, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is what everyone who has never truly watched anime envisions the medium to be. The series originally aired in Japan during the fall of 2010 on BS NTV, with simulcast on Nico More >

Apr 29th
Yesterday saw a return to Last Airbender style action and romance in Avatar with Voice in the Night, but next week it looks like we’ll be returning to some uniquely Korra style action in The Spirit of Competition. Returning to the ring for some Pro-bending, Korra’s going to face an opponent we’ve been waiting to pop up in the series since we saw Naga growling at him in previews:
But, until we can check out next weeks fun episode, lets remember some of the awesome scenes from episode 4, such as Mako and Asami’s first meeting:
Or perhaps Korra’s action packed raid More >

Apr 27th
Earlier this week it was announced that Arkham City was getting an all new ‘Game of the Year’ edition release for consoles and PC with all the DLC content included, plus a free download of Batman: Year One the animated movie. The biggest part of this announcement was the latest DLC for Arkham City, Harley Quinn’s Revenge. As the game has been out for a while, most of you know why Harley might be getting revenge, but I won’t spoil it here. The nice bit is that Rocksteady games have been giving us little teasers this morning for Harley Quinn’s More >

PMX and Anime Vegas Both Host Conventions Over Veteran’s Day Weekend
Apr 26th
Once again, Pacific Media Expo (PMX) and Anime Vegas will be holding their annual conventions over Veteran’s Day Weekend.
PMX will be held at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles from November 9 to 11 this year, while Anime Vegas will be from November 10-12, 2012 at the Cashman Center in Las Vegas.
Both conventions have a slight overlap in fan attendance, and the recent scheduling in 2011 and now 2012 has caused many attendees to have to pick one convention over the other. Hopefully the issue will be resolved in 2013 and beyond.
Legend of Korra Leaks: Team Avatar As Adults *SPOILERS*
Apr 26th
Apparently the other day saw a few sly hackers easily steal a future episode of Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Legend of Korra. From there, the episode, screen shots, and summaries went viral, finding themselves all over the internet. Needless to say, the creators of the series were not happy about this and expressed their feelings on blogs and tumblr. Many fans removed the images and details, with the videos almost nowhere to be found online now. Not one for completely going against the wishes of creators of such a beloved television show, we are not going to provide episode specific spoilers More >
