The movie itself was loosely based on a long running series of children’s novels by British author Cressida Cowell. The series is produced by Tim Johnson, with John Sanford directing several of the episodes. Officially, the TV series is called Dragons, though all the ads seem to refer to the series as Dreamwork’s Dragons. The TV series is expected to continue the tales of Hiccup, Toothless, More >

Lately you’ve likely heard news of major metropolitan cities gaining masked vigilantes. In many of these cases, they’re ridiculously dressed men and women who have watched Kick Ass a few too many times or walk away with a different interpretation of the superhero comics than most. This isn’t always a bad thing, as almost anyone who’s ever read a superhero book has at one point considered donning a cowl and fighting crime as a local vigilante. Most of these heroes simply patrol the streets and call the cops when they find a crime. A rare few, such as the infamous More >

The Batman of Earth-2
Feb 28th
Part of DC’s upcoming “second wave” of releases, which replace the series that have fallen out of the New 52, will take place in Earth-2. This Earth-2 has some familiarities with the Earth-2 of pre-crisis and post-52 (the weekly series) universes. However, unlike those versions of Earth-2, it would appear Batman is still alive and much darker. Now don’t go getting this confused with the upcoming Geoff John’s & Gary Frank Batman: Earth One, which comes out on July 10, 2012. I know it’ll be easy, with all this Earth-# talk, especially when we’re not even certain what we’re actually More >
