When last we left the world of Westeros, via HBO’s popular TV series Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen set powerfully across the narrow sea as the ruler of Meereen and a rather powerful ex-slave army. Theon Greyjoy still found himself painfully enslaved to the Boltons, while Davos Seaworth and Stannis Baratheon prepared to journey North. Another so-called King had fallen, as has a wonderful prince, the Starks are still spread throughout the land without any claim to their heritage, and everyone’s favorite dwarf is currently a fugitive. So what could possibly unfold come season 5? So very much more! Readers More >
Another Look at Game of Thrones Season 4 – How Many Times Can Game of Thrones Say Bastard In 7 Minutes?
The TV and book series for Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire notoriously is filled with Bastards, much like medieval Europe. But what do the creators of the show and George RR Martin, the actual creator of Westeros and all these bastards, have to say on the subject? Find out in this short HBO featurette which features many great new scenes from the upcoming 4th season of Game of Thrones, out April 6th!
The last episode of HBO’s beloved TV series about an actor and his friends, Entourage, aired on September 11th 2011. While that series finale was confirmed in 2010, it was also expressed by the cast and creators that a film follow it. Over the past few years we heard little hints from the cast and Executive Producer Mark Wahlberg that the script was being written by creator Doug Ellin and the film would be made. A year after the final episode aired, Ellin confirmed he had finished the film’s script in September of 2012. January of last year saw the More >
Game of Thrones 4th season has a trailer now and damn does it look good! We were first told about tonight’s trailer when the official release date of Game of Thrones Season 4, April 6th 2014, was announced earlier this week. Then we were heavily teased when short little ads announcing the trailer began airing on HBO throughout the week. Tiny snippets that informed fans that Sunday at 8:58PM they’d be treated to the full first trailer for the fourth season just seemed to pop up in every HBO commercial break. Those on the East Coast undoubtedly exploded with happiness More >
In the Game of Thrones you either win or you die…and there are plenty of deaths ahead in the HBO series’ fourth season. After the surprising (or perhaps not so surprising for fans of the books in which the TV show is based off of) deaths during season 3’s ‘Red Wedding’ it seems like the show will find a hard time topping itself, yet fans are desperately awaiting the next season of the show. Thankfully there are more deaths, weddings, and dragons to come when the show picks back up in April. Yes, April. April 6th to be precise, as More >

If you swing by the Dark Horse booth (#1636) this weekend, you can get an exclusive first look at Ned Stark, Tyrion Lannister, and Khal Drogo’s figurines that compliment the already solicited figures of Daenerys Targaryen and Jon More >
With the recent tidal wave of love for George RR Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire book series, brought on by HBO’s popular Game of Thrones TV series based on the books, many people are reading the books, watching the show, and wishing for more. But there is more that likely many of you are unaware of in the form of several prequel novellas written by Martin. These stories are called the Tales of Dunk and Egg, with their individual titles being The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight. They take place 90 years before Game of More >
Earlier this year, Brewery Ommegang brought to life the Game of Thrones in a rather unique fashion. With the aid and licensing of HBO, the New York brewing company made a delicious blonde ale beer by the name of Iron Throne. This Game of Thrones inspired beer quickly sold out across the country, being a highly sought after and limited consumable product. Those lucky enough to enjoy it likely enjoyed more than one, despite the large bottle size of 750ML or 1 Pint and 9.4 fluid ounces. Unfortunately this left many to go without or not even realize the limited edition More >

So last night’s episode of Game of Thrones continues high expectations for the series with some great new moments. But as the series continues, and deaths pile up, there of course needs to be new characters. But now HBO has a new featurette starring the cast and crew of Game of Thrones as they talk about many of the new characters introduced this season. Discussed in the featurette posted below are:
