Fanboy Rant: Marvel Comics – Are We Getting Our Money’s Worth?

I’m going to start this little rant by going back 2 years ago when DC announced they were “Drawing the Line at $2.99”. For those not familiar, this campaign was geared toward lowering the price of some comics, and maintaining the price on the rest of their comics. Playing with Marvel AR and AvX #1

This weekend I got to test out Marvel’s new AR app on an early release copy of Avengers Vs X-men #1. Unfortunately the app is currently only out on apple products (with android products getting a release of the app very shortly), so I had to track down an iPad.
