Jul 8th
Title: Dumbledore’s Army Reunites At Quidditch World Cup Final
Words: 1,500
Author: J.K. Rowling
The unexpected short story released on Pottermore.com (or shared exclusively with Today HERE if you are a mugglish laymen without a Pottermore account) in the early hours of July 8, 2014, turned this sweltering Tuesday morning from shockingly bad to a feeling of uncontrollable elation - at first.
Written in the prose style belonging to Rita Skeeter, the Daily Prophet gossip columnist that everyone loves to hate, we see Harry, Ron, and Hermione - families in tow- some 17 years later as the Quidditch World Cup final is in full swing. Our hero is More >
Constantine Leaks - NBC Has Something Interesting On Its Hands
Jul 1st
Another night, another leaked DC television series. Tonight we get one from NBC, the upcoming Constantine TV series set for actual release on October 24th. Once again, I hope this leak leads to the network premiering it online to detour pirating, but I suppose piracy is cool right now based on recent television and film trends. So once more I’m going to try and give a few spoiler avoiding thoughts on what I’ve seen, in hopes of enticing you all to give this show a shot later this year when it premieres.
This round of Constantine is much closer to the More >
The Flash Leaks - A Few Spoiler Avoiding Thoughts
Jun 29th
The pilot episode of The Flash has leaked online, well before its intended release date of October 7th this year. Because of this, well I’m not the type to jump on a full review over such, I’d like to point out some of the hopeful bits that might entice you a bit towards checking out this new series when it premieres on CW this Fall. And if CW is smart, they’ll put the full pilot on their website in advance of the show, to prevent promotion of pirating. Of course that’s just my thought on the matter, but here are a More >
IMO: Wizkids Shipping & Supply Issues
May 15th
In a new series of articles on a number of different topics, IMO is exactly that. My opinion. Don’t feel compelled to make life altering decisions based on the crud that flows forthwith from my diseased brain. That being said, onwards to the oblivion that is my thought process.
Heya folks, welcome back to the tizzy that is my wizzy. Ok, that sounds awful. Apologies.
So, Wizkids, makers of Heroclix, and the new Marvel Dice Masters have been having some issues with getting their products to us, in volume, as well as on time, and they had the following to say:

IMO: The Heroclix Watch List

Heroclix. It’s a game of wee plastic miniatures on a map. One that I play, and love, a whole bunch. It’s a turn based strategy game using characters from comic books, video games, and movies of the same basic genre. And while this is absolutely a game, clix’n is surious (yup) bidness. More >
Wiz Kids Makes A Trophy Girl Of Harley Quinn
Apr 21st
Recently DC has arguably gone through the ringer for sexualizing the character of Harley Quinn. Whether it was the new costume in Suicide Squad, where Harleen Quinzel shed her full body suit for a far more revealing and barely tied corset and short shorts, or the recent overly dramatized art contest, Harley has been admittedly given a lot more of a sexualized presence in the comics community. Some might point to her nurse outfit in the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum as being the starting point of this. Other might point fingers at DC Editorial, Marketing, Artists, or even fans More >

First of all I want to thank everyone who has come to Facebook to read this post. The website is still temporarily down after the malware attack and we are doing our best to get it back online. DC’s Harley Quinn Contest Controversy - Misunderstanding Comic Books
Sep 14th
This month has seen DC Comics talked about quite a bit, particularly in the realm of controversy. While I personally believe many of DC’s choices of late need to be discussed and evaluated, two these stories have truly grown to epic proportions that likely spawn from misunderstanding. Recently, J.H. Williams III and Haden Blackman have walked off their comic series, Batwoman, because of DC editorial decisions that have left them both rather frustrated. Specifically, the two men left because DC would not allow the series’ main character, Kate Kane, to get married to her fiancee, Maggie Sawyer. This was certainly More >
