The Lookouts, A New Comic From Penny Arcade & Cryptozoic

Cryptozoic is entering the on-going comic field with a bang thanks to the aid of fan favorite webcomic, Penny Arcade. Penny Arcade creators Jerry ‘Tycho’ Holkins and Mike ‘Gabe’ Krahulik created The Lookouts originally as part of their Penny Arcade webcomic with this funny one-shot back in June 2009. Now The Lookouts is set to be an on-going comic book series written by Ben McCool (Choker). Viz Creates New Anime Channel, Neon Alley

DC Comics and Cryptozoic Entertainment Join Forces

Cryptozoic and DC Comics are partnering to bring an amazing amount of DC heroes to you in the form of two card sets. With the first set of DC Comics trading cards to come out in three years and another deck building game coming from Cryptozoic, I’m sure this summer will be filled with some exciting new art and lots of fun game play.

The Man With The Iron Fists Trailer

RZA’s heavily hyped Kung Fu film, starring himself, Russel Crowe, Lucy Liu, and others, may not hit theaters for another 4 months, but first red band trailer is out now. Set for release October 26th, 2012, The Man With The Iron Fists is about a Chinese blacksmith, who happens to be black, that makes weapons in a small, oppressed village. Marvel’s Avengers Vs X-men wraps up in September, but the heat of summer might not end there. This October, Marvel is going to war! Or atleast that’s what their new teasers would hint at. With 3 new ads, boldly stating This Is War! and showing iconic Avenger weapons (Captain America’s shield, Wolverine’s claws, and Thor’s hammer), we’re still left with little about this new event.
