SG2M Travels: FanimeCon 2013
May 23rd
This weekend is FanimeCon’s 20th anniversary, so come celebrate with us and tons of other anime and video game fans at San Jose’s great convention center. There you can partake in one of the best anime cons on the west coast, with its large video game room, artist alley, anime swap meet, dealer’s hall, and more! This is one of the few conventions to offer a hentai screening room, multiple dance floors, and a swap meet for fans. While Ric Meyers and Chris Patton sadly won’t be in attendance this year, there is still a rather nice line up with More >
SG2M Travels: Long Beach Comic Expo ’13
May 10th
There’s very little like a one day comic convention, where you can just escape away into the comic world without the high cost or commitment of a full weekend con. But most 1-day comic cons tend to be really tiny events, with a handful of guests at best. Long Beach Comic Expo is different. While LBCX is not on the same level of its fall convention, Expo has a rather large number of guests and exhibitors, including a few major comic companies on hand to sell their wares, sign your books, and keep you entertained. At just $15 a ticket, More >

WonderCon ’13: Managing Minds – An Interview With Matt Kindt
Apr 10th
At WonderCon Anaheim, this past Easter weekend, Dark Horse’s Mind MGMT was one of the more buzzed about books. With the recent announcement that acclaimed director, Ridley Scott, was producing the story for a theatrical release through Twentieth Century Fox the already popular title was practically in the spotlight. I had the pleasure of sitting down with the creator of the Dark Horse original series Mind MGMT, Matt Kindt, and ask him some questions about his highly discussed title.
Speak Geeky To Me: Thanks for taking the time to sit with us, Matt. Now where did the story for Mind MGMT More >
