Viz To Debut Volume 8 Of Blue Exorcist Digitally 3 Months Before Print

Once again we see a new sign of sequential art becoming much more accessible through a digital medium, as Viz has a new digital manga announcement. Volume 8 of the popular manga series, Blue Exorcist, will see it digital release an entire 3 months before the print edition ever hits stores in the United States. Volume 8 is already available for immediate digital download at the low cost of $4.99 through VIZManga.com and the VIZ Manga app for the Apple iOS and all Android-enabled smart phones. The print form of volume 8 wont be in stores until November 6, 2012.

A month ago to the day, legendary English comic creator, Dave Gibbons, sat down at Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, UK to talk about comics, heroes, video games, and more. Jonathan Smith, Head of Production at TT Games Publishing & Game Director of Lego Batman 2, played moderator for the event, driving Gibbons questions in a very entertaining fashion. Tim Drake No Longer Robin And Other Follies In Batman’s New 52 Continuity

Scott Lobdell made quite the splash in continuity for many Robin fans last Sunday at the San Diego Comic Con. While on panel early Sunday morning for DC’s Young Justice (a unique place to have this discussion), Lobdell began sharing details on September’s upcoming zero issues. When Scott addressed the Teen Titans #0 issue, he mentioned that the comic would mainly focus on Tim Drake.
