WonderCon has moved yet again, but it’s guaranteed to have the fans move with it this year while bringing in a large number more thanks to the new location of Los Angeles! Home of the stars, movie studios, and several comic publishers, expect this show to have a fair number of Geeky celebrities present. If you can, you need to get tickets fast, and prep your travel plans because downtown LA is not always an easy place to get to, stay at, or find parking. But if you do make it? There will be a lot of fun things to More >
It may not be everything you saw in the leaked San Diego Comic Con trailer, but it’s certainly more with a surprising addition of what appears to be story. This Deadpool movie might not be all just blood and jokes like many of us happily thought, but it still looks brilliant! Released through TBS’ Conan talk show, which had to go TV-MA for this trailer, you can now see the full official trailer down below. No shot from the hip mobile footage like last month, this is the real deal and it’s full of action and humour.

In the past few years Marvel has begun officially selling exclusive products out of their booths at various conventions they have an actual presence in, like New York Comic Con and San Diego Comic Con. This year they continue this newer tradition with some great apparel, exclusive comic covers, and a unique series of items that have a bit of a Disney twist. But the trick to getting these incredibly awesome exclusives is heading to Marvel’s San Diego Comic Con booth (#2329), which only a lucky 130,000 people will have the opportunity for.

Gwen Stacy’s revival in Marvel comics as Spider-Gwen has brought a lot of readers to the youthful book that tells an alternate tale of a character that had originally been killed off several decades ago. Her first appearance in the Edge of Spider-Verse mini-series that tied into last Fall’s big Spider-Man event definitely caught fans hearts and many readers gladly dove into the characters self-titled on-going series, Spider-Gwen, this spring. But as the events of Secret Wars has so many Marvel comic titles ending, it seems even the popular and high selling Spider-Gwen comic couldn’t escape cancellation. But thankfully, the More >
Doctor Stephen Strange has become quite the popular Marvel character recently, having played a powerful role in Jonathan Hickman’s New Avengers and running Battleworld as Doom’s right hand man in the big Secret Wars comic event. So isn’t it about time the medical surgeon turned sorcerer supreme got his own on-going comic series again? Well, the folks at Marvel would agree and have just announced More >
This year there is a plethora of amazing titles coming out from publishers and being distributed by local comic shops for the annual Free Comic Book Day event. If you haven’t already found a local comic shop to attend for this fabulous day, we highly recommend checking for the nearest shop through Comic Shop Locator. But as much as we all love free comics, you need to remember that while they’re free to you, they cost the publishers and the shops money to create and distribute. Because of this, many shops hold some limit to how many free comics a More >
Kevin Spacey could easily be Charlie Cox’s Bullseye for the next season of Daredevil the way he out throws cards at him during the Netflix interview between the two actors. Netflix has set up a rather great interview between its two strongest protagonists, which you can see below. The interview has a few minor and subtle spoilers for House of Cards’ newest season and the premiere episodes of Daredevil, yet nothing that might ruin either series in comparison to how great the interview is. So check out these two powerful characters go head to head while finding out a little More >
It is one month until the new Daredevil series premieres on Netflix with all 13 sure to be glorious and gritty episodes. To mark this event, Netflix saw fit to finally release a full 2-minute trailer. Do we get to see Daredevil in his proper costume yet? No, and I almost thought we got an Iron Fist trailer early considering how similar Matt Murdock’s vigilante headware is to that of Danny Rand’s. But we do get a proper look at the Kingpin, Foggy Nelson, and a few other characters from Hell’s Kitchen. It’s certainly enough to get people talking again, More >
Sony’s new original series, Powers, is based off the long running comic series from Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. The comic is quite the enjoyable read, and the TV series manages to be quite the amazing watch too. As of now, Sony has placed the first episode of Powers on Youtube for free, so that anyone with any interest might give it a trial run. Once you’re hooked, however, you’ll have to either own a Playstation, PSP, PS Vita, Xperia device, or go online to the Playstation Store to download future episodes. We suppose that is one benefit to More >
