Enter the DCnU Today!
Aug 31st

Today Flashpoint #5 was released and with it saw the end of the DC universe as we know it. However, it didn’t feel like an ending. The fairly disappointing mini-series event brought us from our normal DC universe into the “flashpoint universe”, which was rather underwhelming and easily forgettable. The whole Flashpoint series seemed to almost make our transition between universes easier, as our desire to return to some sense of normal in the DC comics-verse is going to make the relaunch similar enough that we can nearly ignore that changes happened at all. Yet despite all this, the More >
DC Runs Lite This Week
Aug 30th
[private]Tomorrow the end of the old DC universe and beginning of the DCnU (or the New 52) is all that DC comics is releasing this week. They’re doing this in the form of Flashpoint #5 and Justice League #1. This should leave all us comic buyers with a little extra cash in pocket and time on hand. So as DC focuses their entirety on having you purchase and read just 2 comics, what are you going to do with the rest of your time and money?
For those of you who feel that money is just burning a hole through your More >

Teen Titans Hit a Hundred
Aug 24th
[private]
It’s not nearly as often as we’d all hope that a comic series reaches the landmark issue number of 100, yet Teen Titans has done it again. The recent volume, started by DC superstar Geoff Johns, has released its final issue of the current run today under the pen of Geoff’s college classmate, JT Krul. This issue beautifully wraps up any dangling plot threads before next months big DC relaunch. So congrats to JT and artist Nicola Scott on hitting the big one oh oh!

Mark Waid, the book’s author, has been signing the book with an extra treat…a braille signature for fans who can read such things (or just be amused by it). However, Marvel upped the novelty with an even cooler treat earlier today. If you’re visually impaired, or More >
