This weekend is FanimeCon’s 20th anniversary, so come celebrate with us and tons of other anime and video game fans at San Jose’s great convention center. There you can partake in one of the best anime cons on the west coast, with its large video game room, artist alley, anime swap meet, dealer’s hall, and more! This is one of the few conventions to offer a hentai screening room, multiple dance floors, and a swap meet for fans. While Ric Meyers and Chris Patton sadly won’t be in attendance this year, there is still a rather nice line up with More >
Yesterday we had a teaser that told us when we could expect the PS4′s reveal. Today we actually got a reveal of Microsoft’s newest console, the Xbox One. Long spoken of as the Xbox720 (360×2), the title, visual, and select specs have finally been confirmed. But while we now have visuals of what many fans are calling the next gen VCR and know what some of the hardware is, the only real confirmation of games have been Call of Duty and the traditional EA sports games (so nothing you wouldn’t expect released annually). The bigger focus on today’s press announcement More >
Batman’s Arkham Origins trailer is finally here, as promised back on Thursday. The trailer reminds me of one we got a few years back, featuring Batman fighting off Tyger Guards and Doctor strange. This one, however, has Batman, Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Black Mask all appearing as rather amazingly badass. The game releases October 25th of this year and apparently offers Deathstroke as a playable character if you pre-order now. Even though the developer has switched from Rocksteady to Warner Bros. Games Montreal, and we will no longer have classic voice actors Kevin Conroy as Batman or Mark Hamil as Joker, More >
While some of the specs for the PS4 are already out, no one really knows the the next gen Playstation console from Sony will actually look like. But today a teaser trailer was released, giving us a date for when we can first see the brand new PS4. This seems to be a trend these days, releasing short teasers online to build up a viral interest in an actual announcement at a later date. Both Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series for ABC and DC’s Batman: Arkham Origins have done similar online teaser ads recently, amongst others. Today’s teaser popped up on More >
Years ago, the Killjoys fought against the tyrannical megacorporation Better Living Industries, costing them their lives, save for one—the mysterious Girl. Today, the followers of the original Killjoys languish in the Desert while BLI systematically strips citizens of their individuality. As the fight for freedom fades, it’s left to the Girl to take up the mantle and bring down the fearsome BLI or else join the mindless ranks of Bat City!
The follow-up to the My Chemical Romance album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys comic was first announced at San More >
The newest game in the Batman: Arkham line from DC Comics, Warner Bros Interactive, and Rocksteady Studios is set for release this Fall. Well, that is except for the fact that Rocksteady Studios will not be involved in this round of Arkham fun, as Warner Bros has decided to bring the game to their in-house studio at Warner Bros. Games Montreal. A worrisome fact, certainly, but many of the designs, including the modified Unreal 3 Engine, will stay with the game. The new game will be called Batman: Arkham Origins and was announced online last month. Batman: Arkham Origins features an More >

ABC and Marvel are just pushing out the incredible new content to promote their upcoming TV series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Today they updated their brand new youtube account with 2 videos. One is a 7 second clip that performed as a small teaser 2 hours before this full trailer giving us a proper look at the pilot and concept. This is much more than the teaser trailer provided on Sunday, so make sure you watch both. Now, find out what it is like to be a Level 7 clearance agent of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division in the incredible trailer More >
DC has some final issues set to come out this August along with some special one-shots. Continuing DC’s big summer event of the Trinity War, there is a Trinity War Directors Cut special which features Geoff John’s script and Ivan Reis’ penciles. You can also look forward to the huge Batman Inc Special with its solicit directly below. Sadly a few titles are on their final issue, so fans will have to say goodbye to great series like Legion of Super-heroes, Demon Knights, Dial H, and Threshold. Hopefully this means there will be some awesome new titles in September, but More >
Conan the barbarian is one of those legendary characters who rises and falls in popularity over and over again throughout his existence, but always returns. In the 80+ years he’s been around he’s seen popularity in prose, video games, movies, and comics. His last movie appearance in 2011, with actor Jason Momoa portraying him, was sadly a bust. But now word exists of Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the live action role of portraying Conan on the big screen, with last year’s announcement of The Legend of Conan, a direct sequel to Schwarzenegger’s 1982 Conan the Barbarian, which skips its Conan More >
