E3 Preview – DC’s Injustice: Gods Among Us
May 31st
Despite E3 being just around the corner, some game companies just can’t wait to announce their big new games. DC comics had to jump the gun with their very interesting looking new project, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Put out by WB Games and NetherRealm Studios, the companies replacing Midway after it’s 2009 bankruptcy, this new DC comics themed video game will be designed by the creators of Mortal Kombat, something the company is proudly pushing. This is the company’s second attempt at producing a DC themed video game, following the rather unsuccessful release of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. The company More >
Help Comic Artist Oliver Nome
May 31st
The life of a freelance comic creator is hardly an easy one. While the fruits of their labor are often enjoyed by many and companies can make billions off films, products, and other tie-ins to the works and characters made popular by these creators, the men behind the scenes often struggle to get by on low wages and zero benefits. Many major creators have wound up in horrible situations and even lost health, family, and life due to this. Thankfully there are great organizations, such as the Hero Initiative, that try and prevent such tragedies from happening. However, today you More >

The Ever Changing Steampunk DVD Board-game: TURN|KEY
May 29th
I’m a bit new to the idea of Steampunk, but I came across a game in development that seemed to have an interesting layout. Turn|Key is a board/card game that uses videos to help bring the story to life a little bit more than any other game. The story is filled of treasure, travel, discovery, and battles against other guilds. You and your crew will need to gather resources to be the first to capture the Treasure of the Century!
The board is made up of the 20 Discovery and Adventure cards that each affects the game differently. The discovery cards give More >

As we reported some time ago, the new DLC for Batman: Arkham City becomes available today. After the fatal events that ended the original game’s story, Harley Quinn is out for vengeance on the bat she blames for taking her love away. The DLC comes free with the game of the year version of Arkham City or runs $9.99 on the PSN and 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox360. In this DLC, players will now be able to escape More >
Why You Should Play: Diablo 3
May 28th
The games industry is huge, releasing hundreds of larger and smaller titles and generating billions of dollars of revenue every year. Many are sequels in popular franchises, some simply one-offs, others break-out Indie games. There are many games currently available. Too many, in fact. You would not have enough time in one human life to play all existing games to completion. As depressing as that thought may be, fear not! A great deal of those games are crap anyway. Or, put another (polite) way, some games are more exceptional than others. In order to save you from dreary, bleak, and More >
Legend Of Korra Opening: The Avatars & Bonus Media
May 25th
So if you haven’t been paying close attention to the Legend of Korra opening sequence you might not have caught this. Replacing the somewhat generic characters of the Last Airbender’s opening sequence, which features benders of each of the four elements, is the last cycle of Avatars. Yes, Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra are the benders who show us their bending skills under each of the four elements in the opening credits of the new series. Just in case you don’t believe us, we have some very nice screen captures below.
