Savage Wolverine #1 Preview
Jan 14th
Frank Cho is a comic artist best known for drawing sexy women, deadly dinosaurs, and hairy apes. Wolverine might not be an ape, but he’s certainly hairy, and Cho has proven time and time again he’s an awesome artist when it comes to drawing the clawed Canuck. But when Marvel offered Cho his own Wolverine title, he made sure not to leave out the other things he’s so talented at drawing, and because of this Savage Wolverine might just be one of the best Wolverine titles in recent memory.

Dec 20th
This week’s issue of Marvels A+X comic series, which teams up Avengers and X-men members in 2 short stories by big name creators each issue, has some very interesting ad placement. The opening story for A+X #3 involves a team up of the recently broken up couple, Storm and Black Panther. The tale for the most part deals with the fact that Storm still loves the Black Panther and, vice versa, T’Challa still loves Orro, but they sadly cannot be together. Almost hilariously, right after the final splash page of this sweet little story is an ad for issue #24 More >

Marvel’s X-Termination
Nov 26th
Today Marvel announced their next big X-event. For those of you who read last week’s Uncanny X-Force #34, the teaser image below will likely make some sense. X-Termination, set to come out in March of next year, seems to bring back the Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler, who ominously abandoned his X-Force teammates at the end of Uncanny X-Force: The Final Execution Saga. Understandably, Wolverine looks a little pissed off. Whether this event will be focused solely on Uncanny X-Force aftermath or be a more encompassing and deeper story has yet to be made clear. Expect more news on X-Termination to More >
