Avatar: The Legend of Korra Season 2 Gets Unofficial Release Date

It may not be an exact date, nor is it an official press release, but thanks to the twitter of Janet Varney, Avatar fans have a rough date to aim for when it comes to expecting season 2 of the popular Avatar: Legend of Korra series. Varney, the voice actress for Korra, gave us this unofficial announcement in response to a question on twitter. Today The Search For Zuko’s Mom Begins In Avatar

Avatar fans, the answer to your most asked question is finally withing reach! The long awaited answer to the fate of Zuko’s mother is set to be revealed in Dark Horse’s newest Avatar comic series, The Search, which sees its first volume in stores today! Written by Gene Luen Yang, and series creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, this story is fabulous so far. New Avatar Books On The Way From Dark Horse

The ever so popular Avatar series is still very much alive in comic form over at Dark Horse as fans await a second series from the Legend of Korra on Nickelodeon and the fate of Zuko’s mother via the comic books. Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Promise Gets Hardcover Re-release

Dark Horse has had its fair share of high selling comics throughout its history, with many of them recently seeing re-release as Hardcover Library Editions. These hardcover library editions tend to be deluxe oversized hardcovers with extra material and limited release, making them highly sought after collections of very popular comic series and storylines. Previously Dark Horse has released these hardcovers for Hellboy, Sin City, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. We were going to write up a very detailed summary of overly crowded panel on Nickelodeon’s greatest TV series ever. It would have included a bunch of bootlegged photos of the concept art for the series (like was seen on our twitter), quotes from the cast and crew, and information about book 2 of The Legend of Korra, Spirits. However, this is the modern era of technology where words sometimes just can’t do a big Comic Con panel any justice.
