Geeks worldwide know they’ve reached an era of acceptance and popularity when a vast majority of the largest grossing opening weekends for films are Geek related. In fact, I’d say well over 60 of the top 100 biggest opening weekends belong to Geek themed movies, according to Box Office Mojo. Mondo Marvel Avengers Posters

Last year at San Diego Comic Con there was quite the demand for the very limited Mondo Captain America: First Avengers posters like you see above. These posters, put out by Mondo Tees, were highly limited and incredibly awesome, causing them to reach a couple hundred dollars a piece on ebay. D23 Magazine Goes Avengers with 3 Covers and Patches

D-23, the official Disney fan club (named as such with a D for Disney and 23 for the year that the company was founded, 1923), is going for a very Avengers theme in their summer issue of the D-23 Magazine. Not only will the issue have an awesome Avengers cover, but it will have 3 different covers with different characters on the front and back. The three covers will depict:

New Avengers Ad - Head Count

“Let’s do a head count” says Tony Stark in this awesome new 30-second ad for the upcoming Avengers movie, which gives a brief showing of each of the team’s power house players and a bit of what Loki has in store for them. We finally get a glance at Loki’s “alien” army that has long been talked about, and there is, as always, some great Robert Downey Jr. dialogue. Enjoy!

During his time in comics he created several comic icons, such as the Newsboy Legion, Manhunter, and the Fly. Some of you may have heard about Alec Baldwin recently getting into a bit of drama relating to American Airlines. For those of you who didn’t, the basic jist is that the famous actor got booted off his flight for refusing to turn off his phone.
