Following up the popular Aspen comic series Executive Assistant Iris, and the first Aspen MLT comic event, The Hit List Agenda, is Aspen’s first on-going comic series. Executive Assistant: Assassins will continue the tales of countless female assassins trained to not only be the perfect weapons, but the perfect high class business assistants. The series will showcase new Executive Assistants regularly, starting with the highly popular Lily. While Lily has a history in the Executive Assistant books, having first appeared in the original volume under David Wohl’s pen, this series is still a perfect jumping on point for those new to the Executive Assistant universe. Lily was once an Executive Assistant in training, and the top of her class, until a new candidate by the name of Iris came and took her place. Now, as we can see in the 5-page preview of Executive Assistant: Assassins #1 below, Lily has fallen on hard times but is still a powerful woman to mess with. Executive Assistant: Assassins #1 is written by Aspen MLT Editor-in-Chief, Vince Hernandez (Fathom: Kiani), ­ with art by Jordan Gunderson (Grimm Fairy Tales) ­ and colors by Teo Gonzalez (Lullaby: Power Grabber). Covers A-C, with art from Joe Benitez, Beth Sotelo, and Eduardo Francisco, will be available at your local comic shop this Thursday, July 5th.
