The Walking Dead Escape At San Diego’s Comic Con International
Jun 10th
Everyone always talks about their zombie plan, an idea of what weapon best fends off the undead, or where they will run/hide in a zombie apocalypse. Of course, outside of playing the part of a brain hungry walker in the occasional zombie walk, you’re generally not going to get a chance to test out these plans…unless, perhaps, if you live in Miami. But joking of bad drug trips aside, the creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, has a game to truly test your undead survival skills. No, it’s not one of Cryptozoic’s fancy board games, but rather a real More >

John Romita Jr.’s World Record Signing for Charity
May 6th
John Romita Jr. is attempting to break his own World Record, the longest personal signing and drawing appearance. For 50 hours John Romita Jr. sat in his chair with bathroom breaks only once every five hours. He feasted on nuts, dried fruit, and small amounts of water. He slaved away signing and sketching for his loving fans, for 50 straight hours! But, why? Why would a man put himself through this not once, but twice? For charity, of course!

Magic The Gathering: Avacyn Restored - A Pre-release Event
May 4th
This review is a complimentary pieces to this article done by Marcus last week. All the photography was done by Megan H. at the Little Shop of Magic, with many thanks to them, in Las Vegas, NV.
So after all the big hype, was it really worth it? That probably depends on who you ask. There is normally a variety of people at prerelease events and each one is unique in its own way. My favorite story is when I was playing the round before it was going to go to Top 8, and I felt like my life, or at least my More >

May the 4th Be With You Pub Crawl
May 1st
May 4th has become a Geek holiday in recent years because of its similar sounding title to that of the classic Star Wars line, “May the force be with you”. So as Geeks find many ways to celebrate ‘May the Fourth be with you”, the people in Portland, Oregon have found a rather delicious and adult means to bring in the Jedi themed annual event. Star Wars fans with a taste for alcohol are going to make Mos Eisely out of Stumptown as they begin their pub crawl, in full Star Wars garb, at 5pm this Friday. The Crawl starts More >
