It’s already set to be a scorching hot weekend on the West Coast, but with temperatures in the high 90′s in Las Vegas things will only heat up more thanks to the incredibly hot talent heading to sin city for this weekend’s first annual Las Vegas Comic Expo. The show has plenty of big name guests from both the comic and film worlds, as well as some awesome comic companies and retailers set to show off their goods and bring Las Vegas a proper comic book convention. We at Speak Geeky To Me will of course be on hand to capture the premiere event with some of our Vegas local staff, so make sure to say hi if you see us–you might even end up in our convention coverage gallery! All the details for the show are below and we hope to see you there!

History: 2012 sees the very first Las Vegas Comic Expo, and the first comic convention inside Las Vegas in sometime. Competing with Grant Morrison’s unique take on a comic convention happening in Vegas on the same weekend, just a few block away, LVCE has still managed to gather a rather large collection of comic creators and celebrities that are sure to bring in crowds. Unfortunately the convention has already seen some problem in its first year, with a last minute location change from the Alexis Park Hotel to the Riviera, hopes are still high that this show will be the successful comic convention Las Vegas has been waiting for.
