Geeks worldwide know they’ve reached an era of acceptance and popularity when a vast majority of the largest grossing opening weekends for films are Geek related. In fact, I’d say well over 60 of the top 100 biggest opening weekends belong to Geek themed movies, according to Box Office Mojo. Hilarious Fan Made Xbox 720 Ad

Created as a final project for film school, a British Columbian film student by the name of Anthony Bortolussi has put together an amazing Xbox720 ad that Microsoft should be begging for. Sure the video itself doesn’t actually advertise the Xbox or any of its games and peripherals, as it’s actually just a fun short. Never-the-less it captures the spirit of video gaming brilliantly, while being funny, Geeky, and filled with beautiful women. Can anyone truly ask for more in an online short film?

The Avengers is out now, and has been out for about 12 hours, making it old news. The next big comic movie, however, just saw a new trailer during the opening of The Avengers.
