AM2 Announces Its Dates For 2012

After what could be claimed as a very interesting first year, competing directly with California’s famous Anime Expo, AM2 has officially announced it’s dates for 2012. Thankfully it would appear someone in their camp had grown wise to the bad choice of going head to head with California’s largest Anime Convention, considering it exists just down the way at the Los Angeles Convention Center. So for 2012, AM2 will be held June 15-17 (Father’s Day Weekend) at the Anaheim Convention Center and adjacent hotels.
According to Chase Wang, an AM2 representative, “Fans are going to be so thrilled with this announcement. AM2was so successful in 2011 with over 8,000+ unique attendees (23,000+ in turnstile) that we are proud to bring back this amazing 3 day event that celebrates Japanese music, anime and manga! We hope everyone comes down and joins us for this truly amazing and fun fan event!”
AM2 is a free entry convention, but offers ‘passports’ that provide holders with premier seating options at Main Events and at Concert events as well as discounts at select theme parks (such as Disney Resorts across the street), retailers, and local restaurants. Concert events are only accessible via a purchased Passport or concert ticket.
