Megan is one of our video game and event staff writers, as well as part of our marketing promoters (ie Tumblr Goddess). She is the kind of Geek that can start a sentence "So, this one time, at band camp...", discuss music like she's John Williams, and quote every line a Sith has ever spoken on screen. She plays board games and D&D, loves reading, and is obsessed with video games. The type of Geek anyone can be friends with and is always happy, Megan is a grand definition of awesome...and on top of everything, she has boobs!

From Guns to Vigors - The Art of Bioshock: Infinite
Mar 28th
The process of video game development might be a longer process than most people believe. The Art of Bioshock: Infinite, a brand new artbook from Dark Horse comics and based around the most recent release of the popular Bioshock series, shows the readers that the video game design team shoots down many more ideas than what actually makes it into the game. Ken Levine, the creative director for the game, touches on that exactly in the intro to the book. Character design, creature ideas, hair styles, and even building types are built up, broken down, and built up again, sometimes More >

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier…and Tits
May 14th
Some video game companies sure are scared about not selling their product, to where I can only imagine the frantic screaming of “We may not hit the numbers we want! Tits and ass, hurry! TITS AND ASS!” So, to battle that terrifying thought of not making sales, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier developers Ubisoft decided on a…not so descreet business marketing scheme. To fortify their sales and to draw in more of their targeted audience, Team Ghost was made. Team Ghost consists, so far, of three celebrities, NBA star Kevin Love as the team’s shooter/sniper, Oklahoma state football star Justin Blackmon More >

Bioshock Infinite Set to Release in February
May 10th
A few days ago Bioshock Infinite’s game developer, Ken Levine, posted a note that said, in not so many words, that the new Bioshock game will not be available until February 2013. At first, I’m sure many fans will share the same feeling I had, similar to Darth Vader expression in episode III where he screamed “NOOO” for quite a few seconds. But, then I personally sat down and thought about it. I want Bioshock Infinite to be bigger and better than its other games. And from what Ken Levine says, it should be. He admits in his note that More >
John Romita Jr.’s World Record Signing for Charity
May 6th
John Romita Jr. is attempting to break his own World Record, the longest personal signing and drawing appearance. For 50 hours John Romita Jr. sat in his chair with bathroom breaks only once every five hours. He feasted on nuts, dried fruit, and small amounts of water. He slaved away signing and sketching for his loving fans, for 50 straight hours! But, why? Why would a man put himself through this not once, but twice? For charity, of course!

Officially announced on June 4, 2011 at E3 2011, alongside Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 4 is the second game to be developed by 343 Industries (the company taking over the Halo franchise from Bungie). This game continues some time after the ending of Halo 3, and marks the return of the Master Chief, John-117, as the main protagonist. This is the first time he has been a playable character since 2007, considering Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach both focused on new characters and playing styles.
Halo 4 will focus more on mystery and exploration, as Cortana and Master Chief More >

Sex, Blood, and Rock-And-Roll: Lollipop Chainsaw
Apr 18th
Beautiful girl? Check. Up-skirt shots and sexual themes with said girl? Check. Zombies? Check. Rock-And-Roll Music? Also check.
Sounds a little weird, but an oh so perfect combination of sex, blood, and rock-and-roll in the new game being published by both Japan’s Kadokawa games and America’s own WB Interactive Entertainment. I for one am the type of person that enjoys all three of these things, and now they are combined ever so lovingly into an amazing looking video game. With the help of James Gunn, the writer for Dawn of the Dead and Slither, Lollipop Chainsaw is sure to have a More >
