Everyone loves comics, and everyone loves museums; therefore everyone should love a comic museum!
While I was in Prague, Czech Republic, I was able to see a Comics Museum (located at the Batalion Music Club: 28. října Street No. 3, 110 00, Prague 1). The entire museum centered around Kája Saudek who is considered the most important Comic artist in the Czech Republic.

D23 Magazine Goes Avengers with 3 Covers and Patches

D-23, the official Disney fan club (named as such with a D for Disney and 23 for the year that the company was founded, 1923), is going for a very Avengers theme in their summer issue of the D-23 Magazine. Not only will the issue have an awesome Avengers cover, but it will have 3 different covers with different characters on the front and back. The three covers will depict:

Today Dark Horse announced one of the more unique ways to get your comic book fix. Dynamics, Inc (not to be confused with Fringe‘s fictional company, Massive Dynamics), one of the big up and comers in digital payment devices, announced that it would work alongside Dark Horse comics for a rather unique reward system tied to using their ePlate payment device (it’s kind of like a next generation credit card).

Sounds a little weird, but an oh so perfect combination of sex, blood, and rock-and-roll in the new game being published by both Japan’s Kadokawa games and America’s own WB Interactive Entertainment. Avengers: Captain America & Thor in Action

Amazing Spider-Man Official Poster

Today we officially get to see the theatrical poster for Amazing Spider-Man.
Amazing Spider-Man, set to come out July 3rd of this year, will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as the lovely Gwen Stacey, and Rhys Ifan as Dr. Curt Connors (and someone else most Spidey fans will be very familiar with). And for added fun, check out the theater standee below.
Ugg-tect - So Easy a Caveman Can Play

Honestly, any game that includes two inflatable spiked clubs has some sort of chance of being fun. The game is called Ugg-Tect. The idea behind it, cavemen built big monuments and only used grunts while doing it, so why can’t we do the same thing now?
There are two teams in the game playing against each other to build a specific “monument” that you draw from the deck of cards. There are wooden blocks that will match the picture. Marvel’s New Gambit On-Goin & Other News From C2E2

Marvel has officially announced it’s new on-going series about Remy Lebeau, the Cajun mutant thief from X-men. Gambit comes out this August and will be done by writer James Asmus (Generation Hope, Captain America and Bucky) and artist Clay Mann (X-men: Legacy, Magneto: Not A Hero). They will be joined by Seth Mann (Magneto: Not A Hero) on inks and Rachelle Rosenberg (X-Club, Red Wing) on colors.

Kevin Maguire’s New Title

Kevin Maguire, artist of many great comics such as Justice League and Weird Worlds, has just been given a new title from DC. Now the question is, was this just a funny coincidence or…a subtle hint at reality?
Kevin posted this image of his DC convention signage late last night on Facebook. Obviously, with his caption “Without realizing it, DC Comics has bestowed upon me a new title.
