Following up the legendary 50+ run by John Ostrander, Jan Duuresama, and Dan Parsons, Star Wars: Legacy is back for a new volume with a new creative team. Written by Corinna Bechko (Fear Itself: Homefront, Betrayal Of The Planet Of The Apes) and Gabriel Hardman (Agents of Atlas, Planet of the Apes: Cataclysm), with Hardman also doing art alongside colorist Rachelle Rosenberg (X-Factor, Barrack the Barbarian), this new Legacy series takes a very different approach to following the progeny of classic Star Wars characters in the far future. While volume 1 of Legacy followed the adventures of a Jedi turned bounty hunter in the way of Luke Skywalker’s Great Grandson, Cade Skywalker, volume 2 will take a more Solo approach. Yes, you guessed it, volume 2 focuses on the great-great granddaughter of Han and Leia! This new volume does take place after the Star Wars: Legacy War mini-series, set 138 years after the Battle of Yavin, and the recently created Galactic Federation Triumvirate was formed.

Despite her famous heritage, Ania Solo is just a girl trying to make her way in a galaxy gone bad. But it all gets worse when she comes into possession of a lightsaber and an Imperial communications droid—and discovers she has been targeted for death! Hitting stores this Wednesday is Dark Horse’s newest on-going Star Wars series, which features a cover by Dave Wilkins (Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison, Carbon Grey: Origins).
