The ever controversial Rob Liefeld officially stepped away from DC comics earlier this week, with a rather big drop via his twitter account. He officially leaves Grifter, Deathstroke, and Savage Hawkman with their #0 issues next month. However, if it wasn’t so close to the release of those issues, some question if DC would even publish those. Why? Purchase Your Alter Ego At…Petco?!

Last month, DC Entertainment premiered some rather fun dog toys at comic con in the way of squeaky plush pups that my youngest puppy wont stop reminding me I actually purchased. However, that was just the start of new DC superhero toys and products for pets, as Fetch officially unleashes a whole line of DC items at Petco’s across the nation today. This comes just months after Marvel’s release of pet products through Fetch this past March. Fan Expo Canada ’12: Aspen MLT
