After yesterdays release of the spectacular Harley Quinn #0 from Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, and a collection of some of comic’s top artists, today we get our first good look at the series actual first issue. DC’s Harley Quinn Contest Controversy - Misunderstanding Comic Books

This month has seen DC Comics talked about quite a bit, particularly in the realm of controversy. While I personally believe many of DC’s choices of late need to be discussed and evaluated, two these stories have truly grown to epic proportions that likely spawn from misunderstanding. August 2013 Solicits For DC Comics

DC has some final issues set to come out this August along with some special one-shots. Continuing DC’s big summer event of the Trinity War, there is a Trinity War Directors Cut special which features Geoff John’s script and Ivan Reis’ penciles. You can also look forward to the huge Batman Inc Special with its solicit directly below. Sadly a few titles are on their final issue, so fans will have to say goodbye to great series like Legion of Super-heroes, Demon Knights, Dial H, and Threshold. TR!CKSTER 2012 Gets A New Location
May 5th
July 11-14, 2012, will see TR!CKSTER return to San Diego, right across from the famous Comic Con International, to show off artwork from some of the greatest indie creators in the comic book industry. However, this year they’re moving up in locations from the San Diego’s Wine and Culinary Center to the beautiful Wine Steals and its adjoining Proper Gastro Pub. DC’s New 52 Second Wave Hits Comic Shops Tomorrow

DC’s New 52, which is a little less new as we near it’s second year, see the first 4 comics of it’s second wave release in store tomorrow. Dial H for Hero, GI Combat, World’s Finest, and Earth-2 (which is not entitled Justice Society, as original reported) are all new #1 comic series set for release this Wednesday from DC. Still in the pens, waiting for release, of DC’s second wave are Batman Inc and The Ravagers (which we have a sneak peek at the variant cover for issue #1 on the right), which will see release later this month. 6 New DC Titles in May

[private]As we reported here earlier today, DC has recently announced the cancellation of 6 of their new 52 titles in April. Well, to keep that beautiful number the DC Universe seems to love so much, they’ve just announced 6 new series to replace the canceled titles in May onward. The titles will be:
Batman Incorporated by Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham, picking up right where the Batman Inc: Leviathan special left off, with Talia Al-Ghul presenting herself as the lead villainess.
Justice Society by James Robinson, yet again, and Nicola Scott. This time, the golden age DC characters are living back on Earth-2
