Fathom: The Elite Saga #3 Preview

Fathom: The Elite Saga is an epic new mini-series from Aspen MLT, connecting the recent end of Fathom volume 4 with the upcoming All-New Fathom, out later this summer. Issue #1 hit stores during the middle of last month, and issue #2 came out just last week, as Aspen continues to celebrate Michael Turner’s long running oceanic adventure series in its 15th Anniversary. The Elite Saga does this by bringing back some of Fathom’s most iconic writers for the 5-issue weekly miniseries that even returns classic Fathom artist, Talent Caldwell, back to the bristol board for some amazing covers!

Psych Fans, Get Ready For Even More Psych You Control

The popular USA Network TV series, Psych, which follows the adventures of fake psychic detective, Shawn Spencer (James Roday), and his friend, Burton “Gus” Guster (Dule Hill), is getting ready to come back for an 8th season next year, following December’s 2-hour long musical episode. However, while originally announced as just an 8 episode season, USA has chosen to extend the season by 2 episodes and let fans vote on the storyline to be filmed!

10 Tips For Convention Prep!

It’s almost summer and convention season is in full force! Fanime is unfortunately behind us, but don’t fret. Up next, we have Animegacon, a fresh new convention in Las Vegas taking place from June 14 to June 16. Though only in its second year, it’s sure to be a blast (even better if you’re 21+!). Then we have California’s biggest anime convention, Anime Expo, which will be at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4 to July 7. Last night on TBS’ Conan talk show, starring Conan O’Brien, they aired a recurring feature called Conan’s “Clueless Gamer” Reviews. The theme of these reviews is that Conan, a not so talented or knowledgeable video gamer, is shown some of the hottest and newest video games while giving his humorous commentary. Last night the feature focused on popular DC fighting game, Injustice. The Trailer For 300: Rise of An Empire Is Now Live

As we promised yesterday, here is the trailer for the sequel to 300, 300: Rise of an Empire. The film, set for release next year, stars Sullivan Stapleton, Lena Headey, Eva Green, and Rodrigo Santoro, with Zack Snyder producing and co-writing the screenplay while the Israeli director behind Smart People, Noam Murro, directs. The new film certainly has the look and feel of 300 down, yet somehow on a more epic scale.
