September 2013 Solicits For Titan Comics
May 27th
September brings in the Fall season with some incredible comics from Titan Comics, as they collect some great work previously published in classic old floppy issues, present a brand new super-powered mini-series, and continue their current popular series. Titan is bringing us a new #1 in the form of Monty Nero’s Death Setence, which Mark Millar calls “The best idea I’ve seen in years. Genuinely original”. FanimeCon ’13: Pre-Reg Ticket Line
May 24th
Yesterday’s lines for Fanime’s pre-registered ticket pick up were absurd out here in San Jose. Things weren’t nearly as bad as last week’s Motor City Comic Con in Detroit, but fans still were waiting for hours to pick up the badges they paid in advance for, hoping to jump line of on-site registering attendees. The lines outside the Fairemont Hotel wrapped back and forth so tightly and for so long, it almost felt hopeless for those stuck waiting, but determined to have their badges immediately for today’s show. SG2M Travels: FanimeCon 2013

This weekend is FanimeCon’s 20th anniversary, so come celebrate with us and tons of other anime and video game fans at San Jose’s great convention center. There you can partake in one of the best anime cons on the west coast, with its large video game room, artist alley, anime swap meet, dealer’s hall, and more! This is one of the few conventions to offer a hentai screening room, multiple dance floors, and a swap meet for fans. Star Wars finds a home on Disney XD!!

Lucasfilm announced yesterday that production has begun on the next Star Wars animated series, titled Star Wars Rebels, and will be set between Episodes III and IV. In the 19 years between the events of these films we know that the Empire continued its meteoric rise, Vader began hunting down the remaining Jedi that had escaped Order 66, and a small group of idealists would give birth to the Rebel Alliance. Xbox One Revealed
May 20th
Yesterday we had a teaser that told us when we could expect the PS4′s reveal. Today we actually got a reveal of Microsoft’s newest console, the Xbox One. Long spoken of as the Xbox720 (360×2), the title, visual, and select specs have finally been confirmed. But while we now have visuals of what many fans are calling the next gen VCR and know what some of the hardware is, the only real confirmation of games have been Call of Duty and the traditional EA sports games (so nothing you wouldn’t expect released annually). Batman: Arkham Origins Official Trailer

Batman’s Arkham Origins trailer is finally here, as promised back on Thursday. The trailer reminds me of one we got a few years back, featuring Batman fighting off Tyger Guards and Doctor strange. This one, however, has Batman, Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Black Mask all appearing as rather amazingly badass. PlayStation 4: See The Teaser

While some of the specs for the PS4 are already out, no one really knows the the next gen Playstation console from Sony will actually look like. But today a teaser trailer was released, giving us a date for when we can first see the brand new PS4. This seems to be a trend these days, releasing short teasers online to build up a viral interest in an actual announcement at a later date. Both Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D.
