It has been almost 10 months since season 2 of HBO’s Game of Thrones ended with the dramatic episode, Valar Morghulis. As some of you Song of Ice and Fire fans might be aware, “Valar Morghulis” is High Valyrian for “all men must die”. This old Valyrian phrase is traditionally answered with “Valar Dohaeris,” meaning “all men must serve”. Equally, HBO is responding to the season 2 finale ending of Valar Morghulis with the season 3 premiere episode, entitled Valar Dohaeris. The episode premieres in 1 week, on March 31st at 9PM. It is sure to be a crazy season, focusing on the first half of George RR Martin’s third Song of Ice and Fire novel, A Clash of Kings. Expect fans to particularly outcry after the airing of the 9th episode, The Rains of Castamere, on May 26th…but we’ll not tell you why. We do however hope you’re quite ready for a very intense war throughout Westeros, the wild lands North of The Wall, and across the Narrow Sea this season. If you’re not ready, we’re here to help with some trailers and behind the scenes clips down below.
