Game of Thrones Gets Renewed For A Fourth Season
At this point, one must question if there was any doubt whether or not Game of Thrones would get a 4th season. The incredibly successful HBO show based off the works of George RR Martin has millions of followers and most of them seem to have tuned in on Easter’s record-breaking premiere. Sunday’s season 3 premiere of Game of Thrones saw an average of 4.4 million viewers tuned in for the 9PM airing. With this, HBO confidently announced that it would be bringing back the series for another season today. Season 4 will focus on the latter half of George RR Martin’s third book in the Song of Ice and Fire series, A Storm of Swords. Expect even more drama, sex, and, of course, death in the season to come…but there will still be plenty in the remaining 9 episodes of season 3. Check out a preview of next week’s episode down below:
