We are ever nearing The Day of the Doctor, Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary Special. Set to premiere on November 23rd of this year, 50 years to the day from when the show’s first episode, Unearthly Child, premiered on the BBC. Each day seems to bring us new imagery and interviews about the episode so many Doctor Who fans are counting down to. Today we get a new trailer, and despite the limited collective of Doctors appearing in the 50th anniversary special, this trailer features all 11 of them in a spectacular form. Of course, not only will fans spot the various doctors throughout the minute long trailer, but keen eyed fans will see various references to many great moments throughout the show’s history, including the number “17162311″ roughly 39 seconds into the trailer. What exactly is “17162311″ a reference to? Well, the show first premiered on the BBC at 5:16 local time on November 23rd of 1963, translating in a more astronomical time to 17:16 on 23-11, or 17162311.
