Recent news in the Comic world has highly revolved around DC, and specifically the current creators working on Batwoman stepping down over discrepancies with the company. Originally, writer and artist J.H. Williams III declared that he and writer Haden Blackman would wrap up their run on Batwoman with December’s issue #26. Shortly after that, DC announced the new writer for Batwoman would be the very talent Marc Andreyko. Unfortunately for Williams and Blackman fans, DC announced that Andreyko would start his run on Batwoman with issue #25. This means the final two issues scripted by Williams and Blackman are likely never to see the light of day. But while we may never read those scripts or see just what would have happened to Kate Kane had Williams and Blackman stayed on the book, we do have a hint of what could have been thanks to DC’s solicits. These solicits are sure to be replaced shortly with the proper new solicits for Andreyko’s story, so for reference we have the original solicits for you below (including the original cover images).
