Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Airs Tomorrow On ABC

DC has had live action super heroics down for decades, with shows Lois & Clark, Smallville, and Arrow. Meanwhile, Marvel has been kind of lacking in that department since the departure of The Incredible Hulk back in 1982. Sure, there was Nightman, Mutant X, and Blade: The Series. Hell, Blade: The Series was even kind of enjoyable, but none of these TV series truly had the spirit of Marvel or super heroics. Marvel seemed to reserve their A-team and incredible live action dramas for the big screen, blowing us away recently with the epic Marvel Movieverse. But Marvel knows what the fans want and have been screaming for, so with the help of great men like Joss Whedon and Jeph Loeb, the Marvel Movieverse is finally bringing Marvel back to live action television with tomorrow’s premiere of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
Fans first got official news of the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series back in August of last year, and since then it has been a long and anxious wait for tomorrow’s big reveal. Airing at 8PM Tuesday, September 24th on ABC, the pilot episode directed by Joss Whedon and written by Joss, his brother Jed, and sister-in-law Maurissa Tancharoen is sure to be worth every second we’ve spent waiting.
