The All New Executive Assistant: Iris #2 hits stores tomorrow and has quite the story after where issue #1 left off. Shao and his cadre of armed mercenaries are about to confront Iris and Maly, but the true conflict is not found in their present, but rather in their past. The brutal sacrifice of Maly’s actions many years ago are now coming back to haunt her, and will force Iris to make a decision she’s not entirely comfortable making. A decision that could be extremely dangerous for her future.
Issue #2 continues the all new run of Executive Assistant Iris comics by writer Brian Buccellato and penciler Pasquale Qualano, along with colorist John Starr. While issue #1 was quite the grab for just one dollar, being part of the Aspen 10th anniversary 10 for 10 initiative, this issue returns the price to the normal $3.99, but as you can see in our 4-page preview below it is a price quite reasonable. Of course, Aspen is also all about options, as you can choose from 3 great covers from artists like Qualano; Buccellato’s partner on Flash, Francis Manapul; and the infamous J.
