Jim Mahfood LBCX13Yesterday on Instagram the talented indie comic creator, Jim Mahfood, shared a sneak peek at his upcoming project. Mahfood is generally known for his highly popular indie comics and unique art style that comes across very raw and sketchy. Most recently he has worked on Tank Girl: Everybody Loves Tank Girl and AvX:VS, while drawing the occasional cover and designing an incredibly funky limited edition pop-up book (well worth looking into if you can afford it). But fans of his art have eagerly awaited him doing new interiors on another indie book for sometime. Sharing just 2 panels still in rough sketch form, Mahfood hasn’t revealed much about this new comic project he is working on. He even hashtagged the image “top secret”, informing us we’ve probably got a bit of a wait before we hear more. But that isn’t entirely surprising, as it seems Mahfood just began officially working on the comic’s art this weekend.
