Wonder Woman Cast In Upcoming Superman/Batman Movie
Since the announcement at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, fans have been going crazy waiting for any and all news relating to Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, Superman/Batman. The casting announcement of Ben Affleck as Batman sent the internet into an uproar, but today’s new new will undoubtedly kick things up another notch. 
It seems this new Superman film won’t just feature Batman in addition to Henry Cavill’s Superman. 2015′s Superman/Batman movie will actually feature DC comic’s full trinity of superheroes by including Wonder Woman!
Today it was announced that Wonder Woman has been cast by Zack Snyder for Superman/Batman and the lucky lady portraying the Amazon hero is none other than Fast & Furious’ Gal Gadot. The 28-year old Israeli born actress is well known for her role in the last 3 Fast & Furious movies, as well as winning the 2004 Miss Israel pageant. With the announcement of the casting, Director Zack Snyder stated, “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.” We can certainly say Gal looks the part, so I for one look forward to seeing more of her in the oncoming flood of media coverage that will undoubtedly unfold now that this announcement has been made. Remember, the Superman/Batman film, while still not officially titled, is set for release on July 17th of 2015.
