SG2M Travels: Long Beach Comic and Horror Convention ’13
Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is nearing, but that doesn’t mean you have to concede your year to the holiday season yet! Thanks to Long Beach Comic and Horror convention, fans of the dead, gory, and evil parts of cinema and literature can celebrate the things that make Halloween so great alongside tons of comic fans at this weekend’s show. Those prepping for gift giving holidays have a great shopping opportunity here. Oh, and of course you can spend time amongst comic greats, celebrities, and even bid on real movie props! Yes, LBCHC is back yet again for their second show of the year in sunny Long Beach, California (though pack warm, as it might be a little less sunny and a little more rainy this year), and we’ll be on hand to give you news and photo coverage on all the fun unfolding there. History: The 2013 convention will be Long Beach’s fifth anniversary, running both a spring expo and fall convention in sunny Long Beach, California. Its first year was marked by Stan Lee & Long Beach City Councilmember Robert Garcia opening the show with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an overall attendance of 6,300+ unique individuals. The show has continued to steadily grow ever since, expanding into horror and Sci-Fi. This year the show will even play host to a major Hollywood prop auction!
